The pesto pizza, topped with mozzarella, pesto, cherry tomatoes and basil leaves, is a tasty variation of the classic margherita pizza.
As is known, pizza is the most loved Italian dish in the world: Country you go, pizza you find! There are numerous recipes, each Nation tends to personalize it with its own ingredients and according to its palate, but the real pinsa pizza is characterized by a dough prepared with a few simple ingredients: 4 different flours, oil, water, salt and sourdough.
Making pesto pizza at home is not difficult with our pre baked pinsa crust, just follow the few simple steps below.
In our dough we have mixed 4 types of flours suitable for long leavening doughs. To flavor the pizza, you can use freshly made pesto, or the one bought at the supermarket; the result will always be surprising.

Ingredients

  • 1 1 Par Baked Pinsa Crust

  • 15 oz 15 Pesto Sauce

  • 25 oz 25 Mozzarella Cheese

  • 15 oz 15 Cherry Tomatoes

  • 15 oz 15 Grated Parmesan Cheese

  • 8 Oz 8 Olive Oil

  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

Directions

  • Grab Our Pre baked PInsa Romana Crust
  • Put the mozzarella cheese on Top
  • With a Spoon pour gently the pesto sauce on top of the mozzarella
  • Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add those on the top of the pizza dough.
  • Add the grated parmesan cheese
  • Bake for 5/7 minutes

Notes

  • To make the pesto pizza even tastier, you can add ingredients such as flaked parmesan, rocket or grated pecorino. It also tastes great if you add a light layer of tomato sauce before the mozzarella!
